Can I leave out the eggs?

My dog is grain free & allergic to chicken so that means no eggs. Can I leave the eggs out of this recipe? Or do you have any yummy grain free & chicken free recipes? Thanks.

Chef's Answer ~ You can make substitutions to a lot of my dog treat recipes to make them suitable to your dogs needs.

For example, when a recipe calls for 1 cup of wheat or grain flours, substitute them with 1/2 cup Garbanzo bean flour, 1/4 cup almond flour and 1/4 cup tapioca flour mixture.

If a recipe calls for chicken broth, you can use beef broth instead. Or, as a last resort, you can always use water.

The eggs can be replaced, too. For each egg that a recipe calls for, you can use the following flax seed mixture. Stir together 1 tablespoon of ground flax seed with 3 tablespoons of warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then stir together again and add when the recipe calls for the eggs.
