Chef's Answer ~ Hmm, that's a great question. :) I don't see why you couldn't add fresh, very small pieces of chicken, or another meat, to this recipe. What you will need to keep in mind is that the dog biscuit will not roll out with the meat, like it will the way the recipe is written. You will probably need to make small dropped rounds of dough and bake them.
You may need to increase the baking time, too. For one reason the treats will be a different shape, more rounded than flat. Plus the meat will release some moisture while being baked and that may increase the time, too.
Just as a guess, I would say it's safe that the treats stay in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 weeks, and then freeze any remaining treats to be enjoyed later.
