(organic if possible)
1 1/2 cups Brown Rice flour
1/4 Flax seed meal
3/4 cup Oat Bran, sorghum, buckwheat, almond, or coconut flour (any preference)
1 tsp organic coconut sugar (It’s like Brown sugar with a molasses flavor and is low glycemic so will not cause a rise in blood sugar)
1/2 cup Powdered dry milk
6 tbsp olive oil/meat drippings
1/4 tsp Celtic Sea Salt
1 organic Beaten Egg
2-3 tsp Cinnamon (optional-you can add whatever spice you like-if using Garlic powder-reduce to 1 teaspoon)
3-4 tbsp of organic coconut oil
1/2-1 cup Ice water (add water as needed once mixed)
1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly oil a cookie sheet. Combine flours, dry milk, salt, cinnamon powder and coconut sugar. Cut in olive oil until mixture resembles corn meal. Mix in egg. Add water as needed so that mixture forms a ball. Add in coconut oil last.
2.Roll into a ball and put on cookie sheet. When full of balls, mash them all down into cookies.
3.or use bone cookie cutter. Keep rolling scraps together to form new bone cookies till all made.
4.Bake 15-20 minutes. Remove from tray and cool.
**Flours can be found through Bob Red Mill's.
