My little dog's like the vanilla frosting they put on some dog cookies or biscuits. It is like a glaze, can you tell me where I can find a recipe for this frosting?

I have bought treats from Three Dog Bakery as well as Pet Smart that have this vanilla frosting on them. I can not find a recipe for the frosting online. I hope you can help. Thank you.

Chef's Answer ~ Hmmm ... well, my best guess is that it is a version of Royal Icing with vanilla added for flavor.

Although it makes a beautiful icing, you may want to use it sparingly because it is primarily made of sugar.
