Banana Bread Dog treat is a winner

Our 15-year-old dachshund, Choco, loved this one. He ran around in circles with his tail wagging! This is a winner.

My dog, a blue tick coon hound, LOVES these treats. When she catches the scent she gets her excited wiggle going and can hardly wait for them to cool. I am pretty sure she would give them 4 paws up!

Can I change the applesauce?

Chef's Answer ~ You can substitute the unsweetened applesauce in this recipe for another dog safe fruit puree.

Or, since the applesauce is only 3 tablespoons, you could use a healthy cooking oil, like Canola oil as a substitute.
