I adopted a puppy mill rescue dog who did not eat regular, purchased treats (we tried almost every one out there).
I found this recipe, made it and WOW she absolutely loves them (by the way, so do we!). Excellent recipe.

I made these treats for Christmas, decorated with a little red and green icing.
Every dog that ate them, even the picky eaters, went crazy for them, sitting and begging wide-eyed for more.
This recipe is definitely a keeper as it was so easy to make and a favorite of the pups!

Are these REALLY dog treats? They are great! Yes, I tasted both the batter and a "muffin". The dogs love them!
Chef's Answer ~ It may be hard to believe, but yes, they really are for dogs. But, don't worry, we will look the other way while you dip yours in coffee or a glass of cool milk for yourself! :)
