Using rice paper

I want to make cupcakes for a dog event. I would like to print out a logo on rice paper to top them.

On human cupcakes I would use a sugar paste fondant. But cannot think of a substitute for dogs. Any thoughts on this?

Chef's Answer ~ I have 2 ideas for you. The first would be to make the rice paper and sugar paste toppers very small and just a part of the topper. This way, if a dog eats one, it is a very small amount of sugar. You can also ask the pet parents to remove these toppers and not feed them to their dogs.

My second thought is to check out all the different options over at our friends at K9Cakery. They have many different sugar free decorations for dog treats.
